function Hello_world () {
I'm Vignesh Esakkiappan, a simple guy who loves building things that live on the internet. Flexible with my tech stack, I mainly work with JavaScript and Java but enjoy experimenting with different tools. I thrive in team collaborations, actively participate in hackathons, and stay updated through blogs, YouTube, and tech communities.
My Coding Journey
I’ve always been interested in tech, but my curiosity about how things work truly pushed me toward coding. During the lockdown, I finally had time to think about it seriously, even before I started my Computer Science degree. By my first year, my interest kept growing—I wanted to understand how systems function at a deeper level.
I love building things that stay on the internet. I started simple with HTML and CSS, then explored Python, but it didn’t quite click for me. Around the same time, I was introduced to C and C++ in 11th grade, and that’s when I really started enjoying programming. This interest stuck with me until my second year of college when I discovered Java—it quickly became my favorite language. Over time, I also picked up MySQL, MongoDB, and JavaScript, which I genuinely enjoy working with.
While I can work across the stack, I prefer frontend development because I love bringing ideas to life in a way people can see and interact with.
One of my most memorable hackathons was my first-ever hackathon, organized by GeeksforGeeks. Another standout experience was Aviskar, a competition where we pitched innovative ideas for systems that could help society. The event itself was great, but the best part? It was held in a remote location, and after our judging session, some seniors and I explored the venue, stumbled upon a lake, and spent some quality time there—it made the whole experience unforgettable.
For me, coding is more than just writing code. It’s about solving problems, creating useful things, and constantly improving. That’s my goal—to keep learning, keep building, and get better at what I do every day.
